I still hear him struggling to breath and wonder why it is I who's sitting next to his unconscious body! The vehicle just went off the road and we were the first there. I didn't know what to expect when, in Cape Town, in January, Floyd prayed: "God will take you into a deeper level of Faith". Did it mean I have to believe in Him more or trust Him for more? During the last two weeks of CPX I was confronted with bad memories. Ivan's car went off the road next to Red Hill, were we where busy building...

It is our time in Guatemala, Panajachel, and it has been amazing thus far!!! It is a time of working, sitting in teachings and learning a lot of Kingdom Principles…basics to say the least…and it is a time of growth for me…SPIRITUAL….and it is totally amazing!!! God has been so faithful, and He just keeps on blessing me daily.. The first blessing was when I had the opportunity to dive in the volcanic lake, and it is SO cool!! His work is just so much more than we can imagine…and it keeps on filling me with awe. God is a...
So about a week and a half ago my plans were still to go to CPX and my mind was made up. All my supporters new about my plans and everything were set up. Then Anna-Marie phoned me and asked me if I would consider leading work your way this year. I told her, in a almost arrogant way, that Anthony already asked me a month ago and that I already said no to him because my mind is pretty much made up for CPX, but I will still pray about it just to make sure. I don’t know what...
God came and met me in Barbados in a way that left me without words...the God that created colour, Who breathed and dreamed in colour deposited His colour into my being and made me live life the colourful way...
At the beginning of this year I made the choice to join TICs and I just wanted to go out and spread the Gospel. Little did I know God had different plans for my life. I needed to be equipped first before I can go out and spread the Gospel. At TICs we started the year with an orienation camp where you get tested in certain areas in your life. We did physical training and it was hard. Coming from a backround where I love to train and practice, this camp was nothing to me. One thing I learned in...
Before we left we spent time with Daniel who hosted a disabled camp for 6 disabled children and their carers. That next morning the kombi was packed and we were sent off by the GCEX staff and LXP leaders. The trip down to Knysna, Mossel Bay and finally Cape Town were filled with a lot of stops and adventure. We witnessed our co-driver's bungee, pushed our kombi to the garage in Knysna, stayed with friends in Mossel Bay and camped in Kommetjie! The rain did not scare us off and the ironning room became our kitchen. Marshmellows over the fire is now...
On Trying to be Thai(ing)
We have officialy been in Jeffrey's for 3 Days, met our team and all the awesome people that came back from the one year journeys. Really looking forward to what's coming the next 80 Days and really letting God take our hands and leading us all the way. Received our first challenge today AND WE ARE THE BLUE TEAM( aka Know as the Best) hehe, running around Jeffrey's competing against the other team. We're really getting to know each other and already meeting new people. Glorifying God in all ways is our mission and just letting loose and letting God....
Landing in London was a bit like coming home, the flood of memories, the excitement to see everyone and to hear all the news, the nothing to do while everyone else lives their lives and you're "on holiday." I was super excited to see my all my friends again, the ‘are we there yet' excitement you have as a kid in the way to the sea. And I wasn't disappointment. It was like I never left, the comfortable with each other and just being. It started me thinking... a lot through the year people prayed for me to just...
Hello everyone!! So this is officially the first blog post of the year- hopefully the first of many!! So I will be writing a little unconventionally- I feel like there is a lot of explaining going on about what we have been doing for the last 3 weeks. I don't really feel like explaining today, so instead I will give a few word description of what we did and and how I felt about it or what I learned. I hope you enjoy! Training started January 9th: After 2 days of traveling, I am...
