I am currently lying on my back on a bamboo bench, Just after my fellow rookie constructionist and I finished building a sturdy wooden grass covered structure. This process involved a dangerous amount of inexperience ,riggedy scaffoldings, and the use of a nail gun while suspended up in the air.I suspect God poured out some serious last minute wisdom into our arrogantly confident hearts.None the less we are finished and admiring our golden creation. There is a sence of pride and contentment flowing through our veins.Wiping a drop of sweat from my brow, I can not help to realize the privilege of...

We arrived in Kenya at the olkoroi camp after a entire night of pushing 4x4 taxis through mud and over hils. The meaning of Olkoroi is Colobus monkey in the Kimasai Language. The camp got its name because it's located next to a river and the monkeys are commonly seen from the camp's viewpoint. After about a week the leaders decided to do a split sothat the guys can go for a hike into the forest, and the ladys can have some bonding time aswell. We set of with our small bags with only one pair of clothes and...
I’m sitting in a mini bus between bags and my team mates(family really) on our way to our last country for this year and its absolutely crazy! I am completely caught up thinking about everything that Jesus did this year. I really just want to weep and laugh at the same time - He did more than I could EVER explain in words, He changed every single part of me. He gave me more than I could ever asked for. Jesus showed me how to take everything in even if there is just two weeks left. Sure, I miss...

My Global Challenge Expedition! It started off much differently than I could ever thought of. I always thought I was this strong, flexible woman that can do all things and love every single person! Then I enter the world of Global. I surprised myself and actually, God come to show me the real me! I've cried the first few weeks and wondered why I'm here. I thought I was weird because I did not know myself! But through all the sadness I still had a lot of happiness inside of me! Fortunately I knew some people from klersdorp that was...

Kosovo was just heart-blowing, like one of my teammates would say. Jesus loves surprising us - and that’s what He did with me in Kosovo. I really experienced God here. He showed me that I was believing the lie of rejection all my life ‘till now. It’s really a lot to take in if you had believed a lie for 19 years of your life. Jesus gave me new eyes to see , He took the veil off. I see things clear and different now. I learned to know what the Father is really like and it radically...
Date: 07 March 2009 Place: Dahub, Egypt Our time here in Egypt came almost at an end. It was a wonderful experience, meeting some great Egyptian people, learning their culture and understanding the Moslem religion. The last few days we also discussed how to approach Moslems and to show them in their own Koran that Jesus is the Way and the Absolute Truth! What struck me most about the Moslem people are that they extremely hungry for real and authentic friendships. One of these people I've met, was a man I started to chat with on a bus in...
We are back from Varanasi, in Delhi, after a great time of interceding for the city. We had prayer walks next to the Ganga River and in the streets. Our team went on an early morning trip on the Ganga River where we could really see and experience the influence of the religion on the people. God used our team as vessels to do His work. A man came to Christ and a lot of love has been shared through team members. We were also blessed with Gods grace through a South African lady that opened her heart to us. ...
During our visit to the Holy land we had the opportunity to serve the people of the land on both sides of the wall. If you have never been to Israel you might not know what I am talking about, but there is a thick concrete wall seperating Israel from Palestine. I am not going to pretend that I understand why it is there neither will I condone nor condemn its existance, but I would like to share the spiritual truth God revealed to me about a different type of wall. The wall around my heart... During the year we...
