I don't even know what to say, so I am just going to tell you what we did and hope that God will reveal to you the significance of every small detail. One day at celebration we heard that the community are going to fast until the "It's time" prayer meeting in Bloemfontein. We as a team felt led to also fast and so we did. Fasting for me is to kill self, not feed flesh, and give space for Spirit to get fed and bloom. I fasted before (we did a Daniels fast) and never had it been this...

These 80 days are part of my amazing race through life. Hey all, I am Michelle, I am 24, and I come from Centurion. The last couple of months God told me. I need to get out of my comfort zone, take up my cross and follow him. In order for me to experience personal revelation I need to obey him. So, here I am... looking forward to all the challenges these 80 days will bring. Like everyone else, I am still struggling to get the sufficient funds, but I have no doubt that God will provide...
We just finished our first trip into the Nations... It was an interesting journey because of, for example the Kenyan buses, (Matatu) and all the people who want to sale you stuff all the time because you're a" Mzungu" (white person), the time we had to work with the kids at school, the prayer room we started, etc... But I want to focus my first blog on something different... I think the best challenge I had, was to try to apply what we learned during training into my daily life of team-member from Hidden World... Its a big challenge...
After getting out of our comfort zones in the North, we could not wait for some relaxing beach vibes in Phuket. Everyone knows about the island’s amazing beauty and vibrant culture making it an ideal all year round holiday destination. This of course was not our focus and we were excited to be serving our new host: Roeline Muller (fellow South African) who is ‘not a missionary, only a Christian worker’. This amazing woman has started a NGO called Asia Center Foundation that provides education and support to both children and parents from lower social-economic backgrounds in Phuket. This people...
I've recently been given the opportunity to enter the households of several Syrian refugees. This concept might seem frightening or uncomfortable to most, but some men and women actually travel from all across the world to come and play a part in this global crisis. I've even had the privilege of getting to know a few volunteers whom have commited themselves to serving these households on a more permanent base. For myself, however, it's been an encounter with the reality of the situation in the Middle East - and not just the pictures we watch on a screen from the...

On route to our final Chinese town the man we met on the bus insisted we have to come meet his son. The son could apparently speak good English – if good English means being able to say “yes”, “no”, “thank you” and “no understand” this statement was very true. As we enter the town – the man commands us to get off at the first robot.
It’s TIME! The excitement is rising, the passion is exploding, the fire is spreading, the rivers are flowing, and the freedom is taking over! God is taking over!!!!!! Will I step into this? Will YOU jump in??? God wants to free every part of who we are and He wants us to walk in HIS FULLNESS! When God frees us and brings breakthrough, it’s our choice to continue to walk in it. I had the blessing of getting to go on a 5 day hike on the Outeniqua trail this past week. It is a beautiful hike with beautiful...
Greetings from Columbia What we been up to: We got into Columbia by walking from Tabatinga (in Brazil) to Leticia (in Columbia), since it is actually just one town spread across the border there is no real border control. Our passports only got stamped at the airport. We spent most of the day in the Leticia airport and there were not a lot going on in there, there is not even an ATM or place to exchange money, but the man at the cafe (the only open store) allowed us to pay in Brazilian Real. The flight was good and...
It rained today, the type of weather that screams 'stay in bed'. I didn't feel like going to the camp but I promised you I would, so I went. I had lots of plans for new games we could play and I also promised to still braid your hair. But you weren't there... I walked through the camp, expecting you to come running, screaming my name as you always did, but you didn't. There were no running footsteps, no waving hair and bright smile. No one eagerly grabbing my hand and saying 'come, come' to play a new game....
Africa - the darkness of the world or the light of the world? Why is Africa known as Dark Africa? Is it because of a lack of light? Or is it poverty? Africa has proven to have a secret that the rest of the world desperately needs
