Our theme for this month of ministry in Malaysia and Thailand is THE BODY OF CHRIST!  We are asking God to stretch our minds and challenge our actions as He teaches us on this.  During our time here so far, we have also had amazing fellowship with different believers and workers and churches.  My prayer is that our walks with them this month may bring both us and them one step closer to God.  May our love and unity be a testimony that invites many more into the Kingdom!

Yes you heard correctly! I am doing my second year of Global Challenge! My last journey was North Bound 2010. This year I am in the Distant Islands team. I am so grateful for my team! They are so supportive and loving. I also have a new vision this year: To impact and serve the team to the best of my ability, and to apply the lessons I've learned in my previous Global Challenge journey and through last year.

So the last day or two we have been running around Jbay and PE and doing the MOST MOST bizzare stuff EVER!!! We have had to catch a chicken (twice) make footprints in cow dung, build a human statue, play official official at a local school's  (read GLA) athletics day, played for a hour on a super tube, took a swim in the indian ocean, took a Ihashe for a ride on the beach ( for some of us the horse took us for a run...:P ), visited a few historic places in PE, sang gummy bears song about 100...

  It has been a while since my last blog entry because we have been in Israel for the last couple of days! We left Dahab to go and climb Mt Sinai, which has a lot of steps to get to the top!!!   Here we are on the airport at Cairo International, just lying around waiting for our 1 am flight, when a little man with an even smaller bag comes and sits next to us and pulls out this huge bible. Obviously we notice and start a conversation.  As it is, he is a believer travelling around the world to different ministries as the Lord leads him, on his way to India. Where like, hey! It has been a long time since I was able to blog.  We are in Australia for a long time. We volunteered at a camping ground. We helped running the programs and told the children about Jesus. It has been amazing!

This is a couple of short stories of what happened:

It was rainy and could, and nobody was looking forward to the next day. We were planning to go horseback riding and ride on dirt bikes. The night the kids prayed for a sunshiny day. (Not all of the kids are christian)The next morning it was raining again. But after we had breakfast and did what we had to do, the sky cleared and the sun was shining. The kids knew that this was God and he must be real.
