I'm sitting in awe as a new day breaks over Mexico. Thinking back over the last ten days my heart can't formulate any words or songs to describe what it feels. God's ways are beyond words and beyond understanding; His plans cannot be contained in human minds! And still He allows us a glimpse of His glory! Our first six days in the small town, Chicomuselo, in southern Mexico, was filled with God displaying His power to draw people to Him. People were healed and set free when we prayed for them; some committed their lives to Him. And above...

Hey Guys I figured one should do a bit of "self training" before you do something like Global challange-So I learn't to fish. It took great courage and dicipline to brave the EARLY morning and the stormy seas,(we got soaked) but it was worth it. Although, as the hours passed I discovered that I have a tallent for loosing hooks and sinkers. As for actually catching a fish...well, not even the professionals caught a fish that morning. So, I learn't a valuable lesson: If there's fishing to be done this year, get one of the other team members to do...
Paul meet the Ephesian Elders Acts 20v21. I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike - the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus. Guatemala was the all to do with walking in the faith that we have in Christ. From the word GO! Swine flu infested areas, witch craft, demons, deliverance, responding to the Holy Spirit, laying hands on the sick, the poor, demon infested, widows and children. And going on a Luk 10 journey, trusting God to provide in your every need - and teaching...
INDIA IMPACT is about to kick off and I probably don't even have to mention the excitement, anticipation and expectations that is whelming up... I, myself, have come to India a few weeks before the group and I've had a wonderful time exploring various parts of the country, visiting friends and being exposed to different kinds of work as well as the realities of living here. It has truly been a blessed opportunity as I am digging deeper into God's heart for my life and for this nation. A verse that has struck me right in the midst of the...
There are no proper roads between Nigeria and Cameroon. At least none that we could find. The ‘main’ road between the two, at the Ekok/Ikom border post in the south has nothing ‘main’ about it. According to videos we saw and blogs we had read this piece of road was very, very bad. So we decided to take a less travelled route in the hopes of coming across a slightly easier route. No such luck. As we came closer and closer to the border with our two Peugeot’s, the canopy around us growing denser and denser, the road became increasingly...
Lord; In the cold light I live to love and adore You. It's all that I have, it's all that I am. In the cold light I live, I'll only live for You. It's all that I have it's all that I am This is my way of worship. To embrace every moment for what it truly is, a gift from You Lord. To understand that there is something beautiful in brokenness, even if that brokenness is in me, also knowing that in my greatest struggle there is a lesson to be learned. And h aving utter and complete...
We ended our time in Guatemala with a Luke 10 journey. A journey of Faith and trusting in the Lord for everything during that time. From the food we are about to eat TO the place to stay at TO the people's life's your going to touch. It is wonderful to look back and see the God's Hand in everything that happened... Our Luke 10 journey started off in Panajachel... 5 fold. Marcel experienced from the Lord in a very distinct way that we should go to Chichicastenango (Chichi in short)... a city not to far form Panajachel. So we...
This has been two very interesting weeks! But Awesome! We've been fixing a little (over 700 junior children) rural school 2km out side of JBay. Our first job was strapping on rubber gloves and digging sewerage out of blocked toilets (I say we strapped on the gloves, cause there's no ways you want that glove to come off!) Hens the title of my blog- I've done many grose things but this one was by far the worst! I didn't include a photo 'cause I want you to be able to enjoy your supper tonight:) Our team then got assigned the playground - The playground consisted mostly of garbage and...
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 GCEX 2009 was the ultimate, or so I thought at that time. What an experience. Little did I know this was only the beginning of my journey with the One that loves more than I could ever imagine… Since December 2009 my journey began again. I had to completely readjust to everything. My eyes were opened to new things and new adventures awaited just around the corner. In the coming months, I saw clear that there was a great responsibility that came from all these experiences. Enormous life changing things were...
