The Amazon Journey of Faith

[video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=md6awcgMk9A 400x400]   It was with a strange excitement that we stepped off the airplane in Manaus. For a couple of weeks we’d been talking about this part of our journey. The trill of going into a place for the first time, not knowing where we would sleep or what we would do, but knowing that God sent us there for a purpose and a plan, and that He would guide our steps as we walk into whatever He had designed for us before time even began. Walking down the corridors towards the luggage reclaim, the reality struck us of...

Riding the wave

I have a vision... A vision of hope, a vision of glory, a vision of awesome power beyond measure! I believe that a huge wave is coming, not necessarily a physical wave but a spiritual wave! A wave that consumes everything, that brings hearts to life, that renews and restores and heals! I believe that this wave is on its way and that we will experience Gods furious love and indescribable power! God is giving each of us an open invitation to ride this wave. It's up to you... If you don't you certainly will miss out... It's up to you! Will you join us...

Summarising Spain

We arrived in sunny Spain at the port of Tarifa after a windy and breathtaking ride on a ferry.  Like clockwork we gathered our belongings on our backs, went through customs and met our hosts. Our home was to be a basement transformed into a storeroom containing boxes and boxes of 'ingils' (gospels).    Here we spent a week packing and handing out Gospels and other materials to North Africans crossing the border into Spain. We had the loveliest hosts - Spaniards and South Africans. Often times we enjoyed rusks, rooibos tea and on one occasion even biltong.    Joyfully...

Magnificent Malaysia

Magnificent Malaysia
Greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!   We safely arrived from Egypt yesterday night, and we were woken up quite early this morning as Hattingh and Sally handed us our second challenge for the year. The race begins!!! We first headed to the Petronas Towers to go up 40 something floors and stand on a skybridge overlooking the majesty and mystery of Malaysia's capital city. Then we went to Batu Caves where we joined the monks' daily climb of 272 steps to a temple hidden in a breathtaking cave.  Lunch on the go was roti with curried curry, and a cheerful ride with...

"...HOPE...PRAISE..."

INDIA IMPACT is about to kick off and I probably don't even have to mention the excitement, anticipation and expectations that is whelming up... I, myself, have come to India a few weeks before the group and I've had a wonderful time exploring various parts of the country, visiting friends and being exposed to different kinds of work as well as the realities of living here.  It has truly been a blessed opportunity as I am digging deeper into God's heart for my life and for this nation. A verse that has struck me right in the midst of the...

The day my life changed…

Life doesn’t start the day you only give your life to Christ, I mean I did that many years ago, but still I wasn’t walking in victory.  How is this possible, do you ask?  Come with me and I’ll tell you…

Superman surrender

I've always wanted to change the world, save it from disaster and poverty. I wanted to be the solution, the answer.   Then I met the Lord and I wanted to tell the world about Him. Everybody needs to hear, and I will be the vessel (nothing wrong with that). Together with the Gospel I want to bring humanitarian answers and tell people how they should live. Yet, the closer I move to God, I realize that maybe I am not the answer. Perhaps I am not the best example to follow. Now, as I move around the world, randomly meeting people who...

God bless New Zealand! (video)

Work Your Way spent the month of October in New Zealand, seeking to enhance Gods Kingdom more every day. We spent our time there in Auckland, living with amazing guest parents who poured out awesome blessing on us. At first I couldn't help but think that a first world country like New Zealand won't need as much need for evangelism as say, India would, but once again I was amazed at the large amount of need for Jesus' love within the country. We worked in unity with different churches including the ACK(Afrikaanse Christelike Kerk), Doxa Deo and with the Royal Mercy Global Evangelistic...

You lead me where where my trust is without borders

You lead me where where my trust is without borders
You lead me to where my trust is with out borders, literally God lead me for the past 42 days over 7 countries with hardly any money or contacts. God prepared the way so long ago and with an ear to hear His voice. We saw His plans come to life by steping in obedience. God was the plan and there was no plan B. Graham Cooke says - there is absolutely no security in what God is doing... He does life different everyday, speaks in different ways and you can never put Him down to our comfortable 1, 2,...
