80 days update!

Well I can tell you when we arrived in Egypt 2 of our team mate's bags got lost somewhere between S.A and Egypt -- Good news we got them back yesterday morning before we left for Israel -- we took a leap of fait and went early to the airport not knowing if we would find the bags. Safely in Israel and the journey continues. Shalom

Oh, I see how this works!

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Where is the love...

People kill, and people are dying
Children hurt, can you hear them crying?
Do we practice what we preach,
Or do we turn the other cheek?
Father Father, help us
Send some guidance from above
‘Cause people got me questioning,
Where is the love?

Black Eyed Peas - Where is the love?

TO BE A LIGHT AND A MODEL…

Recently, a book titled Principle Centered Leadership caught my eye when I visited my Mom.  Stephen R Covey captured my attention quickly in the first chapter and very soon I came across a line he used that almost jumped right out of the page and was highlighted in my thoughts ever since.
“The challenge”, he said, “is to be a light, not a judge and to be a model, not a critic.”

YOU CAN MAKE HIM KNOWN

ONLY WHEN YOU KNOW GOD, YOU CAN MAKE HIM KNOWN

Talking about the character of God, Uncle Christopher’s favorite line was “Come and see and taste that the Lord is good”.  It’s quoted from one of David’s psalms if I’m not mistaken.

Faces of light

Two stars shining brightly as if with a mission to light up the world and a love radiated from a heart that loves with God's love. Beyond that, a smiling kid that's guick to grab your hand in an eternal friendship grasp, tugging you away to show you her room... As we we're preparing to depart for India, the above wasn't what I was expecting at all.  My mind's eye was preparing me to see starving kids living on the streets, begging and desperately searching for food. Starving people living between heaps of trash, hoping against hope for a better future....

Whats been happening in my spiritual life recently...
Identity book in Jesus Christ Northbound has arrived in China for a week, and tomorrow will be the final destination of some of our teams. We have no clue what we doing, but we never do because God is in control. No-one speaks english here besides us, and anonymous people. So far my Global experience has been amazing to say the least, not only because of my great team members, but most of all it's because of my God in heaven!! We had a prayer morning asking God to really show us what His perfect will for us as...

Hands of the Carpenter

It has been the time of my life so far here at Global Challenge Expeditions, being part of something big. Learning and growing so much about God and to see how He is working is just mind blowing. From preaching to seeing the world, from laughter to tears of joy and sometimes tears of knowing and seeing that people don't know the Saviour of the world: Jesus Christ. In the last few weeks God taught me something that in so many ways changed my life and it also crushed my heart. While doing the work of God you think you...

Pioneering Malaysia!

This was our first pioneering country and quite truthfully I was really looking forward to it! I loved the thought of landing in a strange country with no plans, no contacts, no clue about anything really and to be in a position where we had to rely on God and seek His will for our time there. Being somewhere where it wasn’t a simple matter of arriving at a ministry point where GCEX had already set up relationships but forming new ones…and boy did He not disappoint!
