Prayer Request

Hi all! We are currently in Guatamala, in a town called Panajachel, it is incredibly beautiful! I feel on my heart that I want to share someting with you and ask you to pray for us. We are currently on a very tight budget. The Lord has provided for us incredibly during this trip and we trust that He will continue to do so. I do want to ask you to please pray for our time here in Guatamala specifically. We are going to help finishing a house for a widow with 6 children and a grandchild and try to...

Sinai

Saturday we went to climb Sinai - the mountain of God.   I couldn't wait for it to come & when Saturday arrived I was so negative - it was really a mountain that lied before me.   As most of you know I struggle a bit with my health on this trip & my asthma, I thought I overcome it but I never did.  So my body that actually wanted to stay in bed, started to climb Sinai.   As you climb it look like a little steep hill, nothing serious and I thought this is disappointing.  Then you...

For My Good

For My Good
Brazil is insane cool. This must be my favorite place. It is beautiful and we are with a youth group that NEVER leaves. Each night the team thinks we are going to bed earlier (10 pm) and then we hear… the bell. We open the door and person after person walks in. Then we make dinner and most of the times desert is included. They will cheer at anything and loves card games and soccer games and LOVES worshipping. And we get to join in it all. I love the body of Christ. They just want to know the Father...

Flaming heights

Roasting marshmallows by candle light is not adventurous enough, we needed a new challenge and some adventure...roasting, or rather burning, marshmallowes on a volcano...  We packed our bags and headed for a trip to the beautiful town of Antigua. On the way there we stopped at the volcano, expecting a 3km hike up the mountain and then the ultimate experience - roasting marshmallows over burning coals or lava. We were as prepared as we thought we can ever be! We wore long pants for protection from the heat, took water, made peace with the fact that our shoes are going...

Blessing Divine

Blessing upon blessing is a precise description of my experience in Dahab, Egypt. From sea, snorkeling and milkshakes to divine appointments and great friendships that were built in the early hours of the day.  God has truly proved to be faithful and has blessed us with divine appointmetns within the local community of Dahab.  We had the opportunity of forming great friendships and to see Egypt from a new angle - from the eyes of the local Christians. We could listen to the struggles of their hearts and hear what day to day life was like as a Christian in...

Green desert

Israel .. It was so awesome to be in this place, really it was! It was crazy expensive but it is such a beautiful country. We saw so much and learnt quite a bit about the Jewish culture and about where Jesus was and all that stuff. We did gardening and went on small tours. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to my mother for me always being so lazy and not helping in the garden or around the house because I actually really enjoyed it! Sorry mom! I'm so grateful that I could grow closer to my...

From Eats to West....

The last few months was really an amazing time, where I learned a lot, experienced new exciting things, went through some difficult patches. I am so grateful that I can say that God was there with me, all the way! It just would not have any value, to have gone through all the experiences, but missed God in them… India opened a lot of opportunities for me, where I got to know God in a different way. When we first got to India, the whole team completed a Veritas course in the foothills of the Himalayas. So far this was...

Pioneering Malaysia!

This was our first pioneering country and quite truthfully I was really looking forward to it! I loved the thought of landing in a strange country with no plans, no contacts, no clue about anything really and to be in a position where we had to rely on God and seek His will for our time there. Being somewhere where it wasn’t a simple matter of arriving at a ministry point where GCEX had already set up relationships but forming new ones…and boy did He not disappoint!
