Waiting on Him

Waiting on Him
When I look around me I see a crowd of people. A rainbow nation from everywhere seeking one perpose. To pray to God to save our nation. Our God is on the move. I can feel Him. I am experiencing His fathers love for us. Here is an atmosphere of peace. Its like we are all accepted by one another and by God. When the whorship started, I started to cry I don't know why. I can't explain this feeling I had ,it was so overwhelming. For the first time in my life I really experience the Holy spirt. It...

The way of life...Psalm 16:11

In the beginning of this year God gave me a promise in the book of Psalms which meant so much to me. Psalm 16:11 grabbed my heart and through out this year I have kept it in my heart and I saw how this promise was being fulfilled everyday. It is written that the promises of God is our armor and protection. When life gets difficult it is always amazing how you can go back and read the promises God gave you and immediately it will lighten up your face.

Le tour de "Taailand"

Le tour de "Taailand"
Thailand   Or as I would describe it, taailand. Because as one of my team mates would  say - "The team leader got this crazy idea of cycling from Bangkok to Phuket". Yes, we got the cheapest bicycles we could find - half of them single speeds - and we travelled, with our luggage, for 6 days from the capital to the renound island of Phuket.   We had a week to spare before we would join with the Asia Centre Foundation. So the idea came to cycle from Bangkok to Phuket.  A gruelling 860 kilometers.   After coming overland...

We were sent out to find those who need Him and doesn’t know where...

We are called!!

Sometimes we feel like we're just living, without purpose or cause... Sometimes life just goes on and we feel meaningless, just doing my job, going to school or varsity or whatever it may be... I tell you this is a lie from the devil himself! The moment you start thinking that you are purposeless you become exactly that... Purposeless! We all have our situations and our environments and we are placed there by God. We are called to change lives, to make a difference in the world, to be godly men and women of Christ. We are called to be the difference by...

Dig a little deeper

Digs a little deeper

As we stepped out of the air-conditioned Panamanian airport, we were embraced with the humid, wet and tropical climate of Central America.  Even though I grew up in Durban, which is known for its hot, humid summers, this was something completely different. Other than the change in climate, there were also a change in our hearts and an excitement about the nations were burning in our spirits and we could not wait to see what the Lord had planned for us.

The 'war' in Turkey

The 'war' in Turkey
Date: 23 April 2009 Place: Kusadasi / Efese, Turkey   This morning I was reminded of when Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. He also took his disciples with Him and asked them to intercede for Him. That night Jesus stood before the biggest event that was about to happen in history!! An event that is remembered by those who loves Jesus and dismissed by many others. During this time we as team was reminded of Ephesians 6. About the Spiritual war that we face every day but also about the Lord's armour that protects us. How...
