It started off with a small Facebook poem,
This poem was written about my new home.
It gave me the idea to right a blog that rhymes
Something about the sound of chimes

Not yet, with little over three months left it is not time to resign to the downhill or the final stretch. I am confident that there is still much too come and so much more to be done in my life, my teams’ and the lives of the people we will meet along the way... The process... God started me on a process this year, he has begun a working in my heart and life like never before, it started with the decision to lay my future at his feet and thus far has been far more incredible, challenging, amazing...
Front from the left: Arno, Coetzee, Miga Back from the left: Madelein, Quinton, Anseri, Chanelle, Jade, Willemien, Vanessa, Annique Our training in January and February was a time of challenges, fun, teachings, new revelations and new friendships. We are looking forward to getting to know each other better over the next few months. Tomorrow we will meet one another at Oliver Tambo Airport to fly to our first destination outside of the South African Borders! The last few days at home have been very busy with all the last minute shopping, visits, hugs & kisses, wonderful home made meals... and...
En route Morocco Currently I'm writing from this very trendy hostel in Morocco. Imagine Moroccan architecture, soft music and chilled vibes along with good coffee. This all is very welcoming after spending two nights on two different airports across three different continents. Yep, that's what went down - four cities, three flights, two nights in airports (a sleeping bag, inflatable mattress and pillow make a formidable combination in any situation!). The journey is obviously not about just the country - there's a lot more to it. And when choosing the cheapest way of traveling a thing I would like to...
God is REAL God is not some figment of my imagination. He is not some mythical hero. He is not just a good feeling or a whim or A good idea to make us all feel better. He is one hundred percent true! Existing Persisting Present Near Right here From way back Even now And definitely tomorrow AND HE MADE ME PERFECT I savor the feel of Truth rolling around my mouth, Hearing it drift into the shadows as I speak... I am wondrously made! Deliberately made Not a creature of coincidence Not a random...
(Picture of the Sun setting over Mount Sinai- It was VERRRY COLD!) In the last three months God has taken me on an increadible journey: Starting in Egypt, and then from mount Sinai to Jerusalem! This is not only a physical journey but this is also where the Lord is taking me emotionally and spiritually. " What Joy for whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem" Psalm 84:5 Once a year God's people would travel to Jerusalem- WHY- because that's where the temple\the presence of God was. In God's presence there is fulness of Joy. I have by no means arrived-...
"We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to his purpose" - Romans 8:28 I defintely experienced that!! On the 23rd of december (2 weeks proir to when we had to depart) I decided and applied for Global Challenge. 28th of December I was accepted. 12 of January I arrived in Jefreys Bay. NOT KNOWING WHAT GLOBAL CHALLENGE REALLY WAS. Global challenge is a God-seeking enviroment, only for rhe glory of HIS name!! I found myself in Christ, in these past 4 weeks, still in a healing and...
We arrived in Delhi on the 8th of March, and we spent 3 days there. After doing some local shopping and exploring, we left for Kota.
We are on a race!!! We hope we are winning... :-) We were greeted by the air-hostess this morning with a pleasant sentance... "sincronize your watches". The challenge is simple. Complete a list of tasks and sight-seeing challenges in Bangkok and surrounding areas. The finish line is tomorrow night 20:00 in Phuket! From eating sticky rice and mango, riding through the streets with a took-took, rasting stinky feet fruit, feeding fish, taking the train, beeing threatened for jumping on grass, seeing a palace to meeting locals. What a privilage! We are however still on our way to our final destination. Soo...
