Waiting on Him

Waiting on Him
When I look around me I see a crowd of people. A rainbow nation from everywhere seeking one perpose. To pray to God to save our nation. Our God is on the move. I can feel Him. I am experiencing His fathers love for us. Here is an atmosphere of peace. Its like we are all accepted by one another and by God. When the whorship started, I started to cry I don't know why. I can't explain this feeling I had ,it was so overwhelming. For the first time in my life I really experience the Holy spirt. It...

First blog (KENYA)

Hello everybody greetings from South America! I've had a fantastic time in Africa and can't wait to come back! So far on the journey I've done my best to really experienced the culture of the people living here and I think I've done well. Being a part of the good team makes this task easier as it allows me to go into the local markets and get the real local experience. Our time in Kenya was very cool there was a range of events we participated in including, helping at a local school, building a prayer room, and constructing a...

Prayer Request

Hi all! We are currently in Guatamala, in a town called Panajachel, it is incredibly beautiful! I feel on my heart that I want to share someting with you and ask you to pray for us. We are currently on a very tight budget. The Lord has provided for us incredibly during this trip and we trust that He will continue to do so. I do want to ask you to please pray for our time here in Guatamala specifically. We are going to help finishing a house for a widow with 6 children and a grandchild and try to...

Sinai

Saturday we went to climb Sinai - the mountain of God.   I couldn't wait for it to come & when Saturday arrived I was so negative - it was really a mountain that lied before me.   As most of you know I struggle a bit with my health on this trip & my asthma, I thought I overcome it but I never did.  So my body that actually wanted to stay in bed, started to climb Sinai.   As you climb it look like a little steep hill, nothing serious and I thought this is disappointing.  Then you...

Reflecting on the Reality of Gen. 1:26 & 27

God is REAL   God is not some figment of my imagination. He is not some mythical hero. Existing Persisting Present Near Right here From way back Even now And definitely tomorrow   AND HE MADE ME PERFECT   I savor the feel of Truth rolling around my mouth, Hearing it drift into the shadows as I speak...   I am wondrously made! Deliberately made Not a creature of coincidence Not a random...

Its not over...

Not yet, with little over three months left it is not time to resign to the downhill or the final stretch. I am confident that there is still much too come and so much more to be done in my life, my teams’ and the lives of the people we will meet along the way... The process... God started me on a process this year, he has begun a working in my heart and life like never before, it started with the decision to lay my future at his feet and thus far has been far more incredible, challenging, amazing...

She’s Special

She’s Special
With tears in my eyes and a song in my heart I realised that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life! It's hard to verbally express God's love so putting it into deeds seems easier. In a way it feels like I'm overflowing with His love and He's pouring it into the lives of the woman around me. God permitting I want to keep on doing this and being this for the rest of my life! It all started in Malaysia; on our last day there we had a course on discovering and developing our...

Dig a little deeper

Digs a little deeper

As we stepped out of the air-conditioned Panamanian airport, we were embraced with the humid, wet and tropical climate of Central America.  Even though I grew up in Durban, which is known for its hot, humid summers, this was something completely different. Other than the change in climate, there were also a change in our hearts and an excitement about the nations were burning in our spirits and we could not wait to see what the Lord had planned for us.
