I hope that each one of you could come to Panajachel and experience real freedom. What if I told you that almost all sicknesses and problems you experience could be inspired by curses your family made or doors you opened up when you were young... yes, I know there is ´pills´to...

Waiting actively on God, seeking His will and well waiting, is really rewarding!!!
We all know the commandment "Love one another" very well and have heard numerous sermons on exactly this topic and yet, when I am faced with a situation in the team where I am irritated or upset about something, the last thing I think about is to love my teammate. I tend to put an "if" after the commandment, adding conditions to my love, although the commandment never states that love should be deserved, it only asks us to love, even when your love is not returned. I try to defend my stance with "But he did this and therefor...
How top put 6 weeks down in one blog? By being short on details and focus on the cool stuff and not being chronological. (sorry for my detailed readers) Camps We arrived in Croatia and was directly taken to the Camp Focus grounds. It is in the mountains with forest all rounds and is very beautiful. We spent the first few days preparing for the first camp doing odd jobs and whatever is needed around the base. Most of the time in between camps was spent with odd jobs. Some debarking trees and cutting grass and finishing buildings and beds...
My journey is to walk with God and to hear His voice everyday. He knows what's in my willing heart. The Holy Spirit is a part of God that comforts, guides and leads me through my journey. As God fills you from the inside you change and will never be the same person again. So where do I start to describe how great the Lord is. I have already seen and learned so much these past few weeks. Doing self investigation and learning so many things through God's work, in my own life, and through others around me. I can't...
As we entered Peru after a daunting 56 hour bus ride through Ecuador, we left the tropics behind for miles and miles of desert coastline. Oom Hendrik and Tannie Ronel, 2 South African missionaries, welcomed us into their safe haven home with their playful, black hairless puppy, Ruby, to get some much needed rest before starting our busiest ministry point of the year in Trujillo. Wow, what a warm welcome we received from pastor Abner, Kelly and the Peregrino church with a big SA flag welcome banner, a slide show which made us proud to be South African and many...
Really being tested with patience here...don't you hate it when you type a really long blog or letter and then it just disappears? Well, I do. Pardon the blog, it might sound like I'm a bit edgy... This is the 2nd blog in the last 5 weeks. Yes I have been lazy. In my defense, we have been traveling like crazy. I mean 30h and 13h train and bus ride crazy.. We have finished India. Some of the fondest memories of the trip so far were created there. At least at the orphanage. This is where I saw God's...
After our Machu Picchu adventure we got on a bus to the Bolivian border from Cusco on a Monday evening at 22:30. We reached the Bolivian border the next morning with anticipation and hopes of seeing the jungle again but...God had other plans. About an hour later we found ourselves on the pavement back in Peru as we couldn't get into Bolivia. In a rush of praying and thinking and trusting we unloaded our bags from the bus and waved it goodbye as it entered Bolivia without us. So there we were...apparently Peru wanted some more pictures with us....
During the last 6 months or so the Lord has been speaking to me about being Holy and the areas concerning that. I want to share with you what the Father has placed on my heart..... Leviticus 19:2 says, "Be holy for I the Lord your God am holy!" Here we can see that God demands us to be holy. It's not a question, but rather a statement. So in fact God is asking us to be sacred or set apart for Him. Why? 2 Timothy 2:21 says the following, "If anyone purifies himself from these things, he will be...
I am a chosen princess, ready to reign in beauty, honour, glory and integrity. I’m captivated, loved and adored by the King of kings and in love with Him. I am hidden in Him. I will not sit in and agree with the circle of mockers. I will stand up in God’s righteousness, not my own, and I will agree with God and have peace. I confidently speak, pray and minister truth, through worship and reverence for the Lover of my soul. I love the lost and encourage the feeble. I work diligently, delegate diligently and birth new beginnings passionately....
