Lord, You are standing in front of me, with Your hand stretched out to me, asking 'Dance with me?' At first I hesitated to put my hand in Yours and say YES. But I did say YES. And I did put my hand into Yours, but it wasn't easy or smooth, it was with a lot of hesitation. As I was putting it into my Fathers hand, I pulled it back much faster. It was more pulling back, than moving my hand forward. A lot of things kept me from putting my hand into my Fathers hand for OUR DANCE....

Jip! So stil in training! God is doung greate things. 35 years old and stil so menny to discover about myself. I thank the lord for his pations with me. I think the challenge is more in my emotions than to go out to the nations. Lord shape me, break me, make me, recreate me. May only you and your holly name be known out there. Thank you for working in me. Amen.
Adrenaline and excitement in the air as we walked onto the plane at OR Tambo International Airport. Finally. Three months of training and I thought I was prepared for anything and everything sent my way! The soft voice of Jesus saying "I am sending you" and the company of fifteen believers who will soon become family. What could possibly stand against me? But as I lay in a hammock on a boat on the Amazon River and reflect back on the last 25 days, I realize I was over confident. I had too much self confidence. Self...
The Middle East was awesome with love giving strangers that felt like my long lost family. I love the Middle East with the hart of our God. There has been weird laughing and awesome times Austin and I love cookies and wheels (Cookie name),but the best is waking up at 04:00 am with Mosque's screaming Allahu Akbar. It started to sound more like music the second night.
The past 2 months of training at GCEX has taught me many things. I am thankful for all that I have learnt and felt prepared me for my journey to Asia. This is my first time coming to South Africa and I have started to love the country, the people and the culture. But the most important is that I have learnt from God how to love Him more. Here I experienced fellowship and family and through this they helped to equip my heart for the nations. I learnt how to love others as God loves me. I learnt to...
Our time at Think and do was fun. Frikkie and I sanded a couple of doors and painted a whole bunch of Iron bars. The rest of the team weeded the soccer field and the farm tunnels.
I know people speak about "a dessert season" in their spiritual life, I did not think I would ever experience it and now that I am in that season I even thought it would be different, bad in a way. Let me put it like this. In a dessert everything looks the same. Every sand hill looks like the one you just passed. The sun and heat is so unbearing that you don't feel anything after a while. After a few hours you just stumble around and fall short not knowing what you are doing. With me I have a...

We humans have very little moments where we feel totally completed. Totally satisfied with where we are or what we are doing with our lives, Cuba is no different - here people dream about travelling and doing all the things their Communist country does not allow them to, therefore moments like these should be written about. This is one of those moments. I am sitting on the back of what might seem like a cattle truck (Cuban taxi) on our way back from giving word at the Cuban seminary. Tonight I sit in total content with a smile on my...
God told Abram: “Leave your country, your family, and your father’s home for a land that I will show you." Genesis 12:1 MSG Walking with God starts with a simple 'yes'. Everything else is provided in the journey. You just don't know when or how. Soon you start to learn that you walk by faith and not by sight... With the world's eyes we are blind, but now we truly see. Coming to Global Challenge was much like this. I heard the Lord speak and I chose to obey. What lies before me now, I do not...
