Luke 10 Updated

As promised here's a brief summary of day 6 through to day 12. After we left Omar in Salina Cruz we hiked along the scenic coastal route. And scenic it is! After quite a few rides and miles walked we were stranded on a random corner on the outskirts of a little coastal town. We ended up spending the night camping in a yard of a chicken fighting ranch. God at work in Coffee Bay

God at work in Coffee Bay
What a priveledge to experience the 2011 training for the GCEX teams in Coffee Bay. The team members are working hard in the harsh waether conditions of the Wild Coast. Yesterday the group washed the feet of all the children in the school. Samaritan Feet provided new tekkies for all the children and they were so happy to receive their new shoes. Stoffel, leader of Explore Africa brought an inspired message and a number of children committed their lives to the Lord. God is really doing a wonderfull work in and through the teams.

Sri-Lanka

Good day, all the way from Sri-Lanka!   We had an amazing week here in the very humid Sri-Lanka.   We stayed with Pieter and Luise Ter Haar.   They are missionary “social” workers in Sri-Lanka and have been serving here for more than 20 years.   They are South Africans and it was great to have a few braai’s with them!   We stayed with them on their farm near Kandi.   There they have a children’s home on their coconut farm.   They take care of round about 20 girls between the ages of 4 to 20 years...

80 Days preJourney...

It is now several months since I knew Im going on the journey.  It was a great time.  A time where I had to focus on God for provision and a clear mind.   I still need a lot of money in the bank account, but I know  it is already paid by God, its just not yet visible for us in the account.  All the money on earth belongs to our DAD and He will pour out when He wants to.  Thank you Lord that you have already provided for me and my teammates!  A little bit of how the money came in: ...
