As promised here's a brief summary of day 6 through to day 12. After we left Omar in Salina Cruz we hiked along the scenic coastal route. And scenic it is! We're all in accordance that this is some of the most beautiful land we've ever seen, what a privilege it was! After quite a few rides and miles walked we were stranded on a random corner on the outskirts of a little coastal town. We ended up spending the night camping in a yard of a chicken fighting ranch. (In Mexico chicken fights and betting is a big thing) Earlier...
On 31 July 2016 an Organisation Global Challenge sent a team, Hidden World, to Colombia to find God the Father, alias Provider. On arrival at Bogota the team had to split into two groups for hosting purposes. "Our group had 10 people sleeping in a flat that was designed for 4", commented Ashleigh Smart, the travel executive of Hidden World. They have been in pursuit of God since January 2016. "God prearranged everything and then we stepped into it", said Simon Dilger, the teams second in command. Jeanette Snyders, the public liason of Hidden World, shared information that one of...
Tomorrow a whole new chapter of my life starts. Tomorrow I fly out to India. Tomorrow 15 young people totally commited to God board a plane for adventure and sacrifice, for growth and service. Tomorrow my world changes... Tomorrow I learn what it really means to give everything to God and rely on Him. Tomorrow I start to find out how much what I have learnt and experienced these past 6 weeks and my whole life has equipped me.I have seen God work so powerfully in me and through me this year and I am so excited for more! I have seen...
Hong Kong is Beautiful! There are tall modern buildings everywhere, featuring ammusing light displays, all surrounded by mountains, sea and health-green vegetation. We stayed over for 3 nights, driving buses, ferries and the undergound train, but most importantly walked the streets and met the people of Hong Kong. The people are Beautiful! Mostly friendly and humble and always willing to help. Unfortunately, there exists a "money-making" mentality that demands a committed, focused and obsessive working lifestyle, averaging 10 hours a day. I met a very special friend caught up in this "cultural-chain", but desperate to seek and know the truth. I thank God for His grace. I stand in amazement...
An envoy for the King! Proverbs 13:17 “ A wicked messenger falls into adversity, but a faithful envoy brings healing.” This scripture was prophesied over me before leaving for a mission trip to Brazil in December 2011. An envoy is an entrusted messenger covered by both the protection and the authority of the King as it was the King’s message that he would be carrying and therefore, would be regarded as the King himself. The message that our King had entrusted us with to Brazil was a message of power, a message of life and a message of truth that...
It is our first morning in Yogyakarta in Indonesia. I wake up at around 4:30am to the now forgotten but still familiar sound of the call to prayer being boomed into the neighbourhood from the rooftop of ten plus mosques. Not long after as the dawn starts breaking another strange sound claws its way through my sub-conscience. It's a clanging empty noise accompanied by the shouts of a man... Later the day I see that the centre where we are staying at is surrounded by rice paddies. And it is a ritual for the workers that sleep around the...

What a blessed two weeks it hadn’t been TEACH? A spiritual blessing as well as physically spoiled, eg an air-conditioned room which is really a treat in the Thai summer.
Our trip through Egypt and Israel is coming to an end, but the experiences we shared will echo in our lives for years to come. In Egypt we saw the ancient paths from the Bible. The country seems to lack joy and hope, but in some places there is a very bright light shinning. We visited the Garbage City Church which was amazing. The people there are real and full of the joy of the Lord. We met some interesting people and learned a lot about different cultures! On our way to Israel we had the privilege of climbing Mount Sinia...
What an honour it is to be writing to you from the Himalaya Mountains... YES... you read right... the Himalaya Mountains in northern India is where we find ourselves at this present time.... In a cozy village called Shimla, a stone throw away from Nepal and on the opposite mountain face as China, we wake up to misty, chilly air, thinner to what we are used to... With an entire almost city carved into the side of the mountain, we wonder how it all still stands... We're staying in a hotel that has the most stupendous view of the surrounding...
