Luke 10 Updated

As promised here's a brief summary of day 6 through to day 12. After we left Omar in Salina Cruz we hiked along the scenic coastal route. And scenic it is! We're all in accordance that this is some of the most beautiful land we've ever seen, what a privilege it was! After quite a few rides and miles walked we were stranded on a random corner on the outskirts of a little coastal town. We ended up spending the night camping in a yard of a chicken fighting ranch. (In Mexico chicken fights and betting is a big thing) Earlier...

Home away from home

Normal 0 21 false false false ES X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I think I need to recheck my family roots after my 3weeks experience in Croatia... somewhere I got some croatian blood in me I am sure of it! Apart from walking tall amongst other ´giants´ and my name sounding like every name on street i felt so part of the family there, I only found later that the true secret was a connection from the heart. For the first time in my life I truly understand the importance an need of a spiritual family and to be true brothers and...

Through the eyes of the Saviour

Through the eyes of the Saviour
Walking on the side walk, like any normal day, you passed Him by so easily, without even looking His way. Sitting just to the right a Man dressed in white, shining with all God's glory, beauty and might. How could you not see Him, He was sitting right there, Maybe you were to busy thinking of worldly things, or maybe you were looking through a physical stare. To see His awesome glory, you have to keep in mind,  not to stop at only the physical, but also look through your spiritual eyes. What you probably saw was a filthy man...

HiP hIp FoR tHe HIMALAYA's

What an honour it is to be  writing to you from the Himalaya Mountains... YES... you read right... the Himalaya Mountains in northern India is where we find ourselves at this present time.... In a cozy village called Shimla, a stone throw away from Nepal and on the opposite mountain face as China, we wake up to misty, chilly air, thinner to what we are used to... With an entire almost city carved into the side of the mountain, we wonder how it all still stands... We're staying in a hotel that has the most stupendous view of the surrounding...

Building relationships in Brazil- how hard can that be?!

Hola friends and family! Greetings from Columbia!

Our team is currently helping with maintenance work at a New Tribes Mission camp in Fusagasuga, just over an hour from the capital of Bogotá. We have been here a week now and although the work has been physically tough and demanding, I have loved every minute of it! God has really blessed our teamin providing  this opportunity to be a part of the ministry here. We finish up in Columbia in just over a week and are prayerfully considering how to get down to Peru for our next ministry service place, where we will stay for the  month of May.

Psalm 27 in China...

China was quite a strange country that never failed to surprise me. Initially my perception was that it was rigid and lifeless but the more time we spent there the more I grew to love the culture and people.

God at work in Coffee Bay

God at work in Coffee Bay
What a priveledge to experience the 2011 training for the GCEX teams in Coffee Bay. The team members are working hard in the harsh waether conditions of the Wild Coast. Yesterday the group washed the feet of all the children in the school. Samaritan Feet provided new tekkies for all the children and they were so happy to receive their new shoes. Stoffel, leader of Explore Africa brought an inspired message and a number of children committed their lives to the Lord. God is really doing a wonderfull work in and through the teams.
