Dreaming is not for the Impossible!

Dreaming is not for the Impossible!
Who said a wheelchair bound person will not be able to put up his own tent and sleep in it? Who said a wheelchair user can not get up to Cape Point without using the train? Who said a guy in a wheelchair can't minister and encourage others? Who said an adventurous road trip to Cape Town with two disable guys is impossible? It is all possible! It all started when the 22nd of April became our fixed date. We told people about the dream of going to Cape Town and started praying for the necessary funds. From a budget...

Survivor! The ultimate challenge...

Survivor! The ultimate challenge...
Yes.... I live to tell the story! Believe it or not =) Being the person that I have been for the past four years, it was quite something to adapt to a whole new way of living. From being a forth year student at the University of Pretoria, living in a residence, having a strict class schedule, studying for tests and being a modern day student to adapting to a life with 36 other students in something I can call a 'very-close-to-my-personal-space' living, was something I had to get used to - and fast! Through the process of getting to...

What God planned for us in India

What God planned for us in India
So we sadly finished India and moved on to a much deserved rest in London.   But what was our plan and what did God want from us during our time in India. This has been the question on my mind for the few weeks that we spend in India. Most of us had some sort of sickness during the time in India and personally I think it blurred our vision for India and therefore we did not keep our focus on  God and what his plan is for India. We did what we set out to do and with...

Are you alive or are you merely breathing?

What is a Christian? Somebody who goes to church every Sunday or who "knows" who Jesus is... Or is there so much more to it?  The Bible says that we must not be lukewarm but either warm or cold. This implicates that God would rather have us cold then lukewarm. Just "knowing" Jesus will not suffice. You need to have a living relationship with him.  God wants us to really seek Him in everything we do and to listen to His voice... even if it while your studying or working or doing whatever you do. Just spend some time with Him and ask Him what...

Call on God and He will answer you ... (Jeremiah 33:3).

KimLudickThe reason I am writing this blog is because I would like to share a testimony of a promise that God has fulfilled. In 2009 around the end of our one year journey God showed me that I was only allowed to share the testimonies of what God did in this year, traveling with GCEX, for the following two years. He also promised me that after this time I would begin my ministry.

So this is exactly what I did. God gave me the most amazing roommate my freshman year of University, and we had endless conversations deep into the night about everything God had done for us and is still doing in our lives.

It is all about LOVE*

It is all about LOVE*
L...O...V...E... Love is something that songs are sang about, movies are made about and books are written about... love is ´everywhere´... but is it really???? In the last week, we as Southbound were so priviledged and blessed with some time to relax, go our own way... a bit of a ´holiday´if i can call it that! The group split up, some went to Columbia, some to Quito and some of us stayed in Mancora, along the Peruvian coast, where we had finished debriefing! Mancora is a beautiful beach town, a lot of tourists and lots of small restaurants and coffeeshops!...
