Mission: Transkei

Back in Jeffrey’s Bay it seems like have been away for at least a month! Reality is that it was only two weeks, but looking back at everything that I experienced, all the ways I have grown and how God has changed my heart, time must have stood still at some point!

Isreal: The Beautiful Land

One night in Amman We flew to freezing cold Jordan from hot South Africa and had to get to Isreal from there. It was getting late and we knew that the border was going to close soon. So we just planned to sleep in the airport and go to the border first thing the next morning. As we arranged transport for the next day with a man he invited us to go sleep in his summerhouse for the evening. He took us to the house, got some gas to heat the house with a heater and even gave us some...

Tasmania!

Tasmania!
2 months of Australia, 1 of Tasmania! Half of the team is here on the island, doing volunteer work at farms and houses, the other half is at sheep farms, raising founds for the rest if the year and maybe an extra country! (Muller still with us in Spirit) There's time for going out on the streets, and time for working, "embrace the season you're in" or you'll never live fully.. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. (‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭4-5‬ NIV)

Christmas message

''You can only be saved once you've come to know how lost you are." (Dr. Sam Thomas) May this Christmas once again reveal to you the meaning and value of the life and death of Christ. Hope each of you has a blessed Christmas.

My memo

I've been wondering what to write, what should be said, what could be left out? Guatemala has been one tough cookie, but one of those with the hard exterior and the juicy insides. The Lord has done so many amazing things this month. Oom Jackie says "I'd like to confuse you so that the Spirit can change you." There was major confusion this month, huge headaches, rivers full of tears, AND a massive breakthrough. When does demonology turn into a mud slide? When did Peter start to sink? When did major panic and confusion set in? When I took my eyes...

African Luke 10

Explore Africa: Luke 10 Excitement filled the air as our leaders announced: " A Luke 10 journey from Dakar in Senegal to Bamako in Mali." Preparations began as we studied Luke 10 in the Bible. By the time we were ready to depart from our leaders and Dakar, we had the same mission imprinted on our hearts and minds as the disciples had in Luke 10: to heal the sick and spread the Word of God. From our first bus ride to Tambacounda we experienced God working as He sent our woman of peace on the same bus. We...

God's divine Cuban encounter

It is a typical warm "winter's" day in the city if Santiago de Cuba, and some of the girls are walking in the streets of the busy city. It is obvious that we are foreigners! At that stage not being able to answer in quite more descriptive words than: Gracias, por favor, see or no, we also sound like foreigners! And at a certain moment, while we are trying to communicate with someone, a well spoken, handsome English Miami looking man steps in! Let's name him Aleandro. Some of us had a very good conversation with him, hearing a bit about...
