I am currently at Alabanza in Harties.  I have met the group that I will be travelling with for the next 80 days.  There are 10 girls and 6 guys.  There are 3 Americans!! I have been really practicing my English!!

We are serving at an orphanage in India at the moment. We are teaching the children, and also repainting their school. But while we are serving them, God is building into our own life’s… To each new country I go to, I go with a certain expectation or goal. Not a set plan, or a task driven schedule, but in the quit times that I sit with God. I ask Him for certain things to happen in the different counties we visit. Brazil has flown by so fast and the time came to say goodbye to our new friends with a farewell at Elaine's house last night. Little did we know, a challenge would be sprung on us so suddenly! As we write this we are challenging the blue and yellow teams around the streets of Ubatuba!!!

After much over landing from Niger, through Benin we ended up in Togo for an unanticipated period of time.  We have just come out of a significant time of the year where we stopped, in Egypt, to look back on the journey with a reflective and teachable attitude.  The environment and beauty of the Red Sea and the rugged barren desert mountains in Egypt were definitely the most appropriate context in which to rest and review the first half of our journey.  In addition to resting and looking back, we were greatly spoiled by God through generous people, the company...

Wow what an amazing experience I have had in the past few weeks here in China. From day to day just following after God's own heart and will is an adventure of a life time. More than two weeks into this amazing year we are stil realizing more and more what this year is really about, and it increases our excitement! This week we had the privelage to get a taste of what is to come when we started working at a local primary school! We did what was necesary to get the job done! We also had some amazing experiences and awesome views! We just had to hang on to everything we had to prevent it from getting blown away, even ourselves at times!
