I think it's important to remember that God didn't create religion. People did. It's funny, we run around placing little labels on all sorts of spiritual things and calling it OUR RELIGION. Isn't that just what we do with people as well? See we meet people. We kinda talk to them for a while, "get to know them" without getting to know them and then we slap a sticker all over what we "know" about them and we file them in a box with a lot of other stuff with the same stupid label. Our own little factory if...

Blessing Upon Blessing Egypt sounded like such a bad place to be in by the way the Israelites were slaves and Pharao with his hardened heart. But today it is a pritty nice place! :-) There was a few high points and very few low points for me in Egypt. Firstly there was DAHAB!! We visited Dahab for a week to give us some rest after the first part of the journey. In Dahab we enjoyed the eastern restaurants where we all were seated on the ground on comfy pillows and enjoyed Coconut milkshakes. We also went snorkeling at places like the...
Only two weeks of training have passed and I already feel like I have learnt a lifetime of lessons. The people I've met here are already like part of my family. And as for my relationship with God.. It has never been so strong and so intense. I feel like a better, stronger person. And God is my leader, using me as a messenger to tell His story to the world. And all I can say is, "I'm ready for the change, I'm ready for the world, I'm ready for the things that I've already learnt."- Coldplay. These are the...
Sunsets cannot be described by words or poems. Our english language with all it's rich descriptive words falls short to make the reader understand fully what only the writer can experience. Photo's and video's can only give a two dimentional reproduction of the glorious array of colours. Megapixels cannot fully capture the majesty or do justice to God's original artwork. I can tell you that experienced a few breathtaking sunsets while on this journey. I can tell you about the magnificent oranges, pinks purples and reds, I can post pictures but you will not get the gooseflesh I got. And...
Our time in Nicaragua was short and busy! We were only there for a week, but we got a lot done! And God once again led us all the way and took over wherever we went! We served under Hosanna church, which is a huge church in Managua. During our time in Nicaragua, we were joined by the Hidden World team, Liesel, Jakes and Francois! What a blessing that was! Liesel was on South Bound last year, and during their Luke 10 journey, they made the connection and started a relationship between Global Challenge and Hosanna church! Once again we...
Hi, I am Henro Jordaan and I am 19 years of age. I know that it’s rather late for my first blog, now I am trying. I have never been the best with computers, but there are a few experiences that I have to share. Not too long ago I was in a struggle with God and what He wanted for me. I was uncertain who I was and what I was destined for. I prayed and prayed and the journey that I was going to do got cancelled. This as you can imagine, confused me even more and I...
Pray For -INDIA - Hello everyone. India always fascinates me and it is my second coming into the country and I am still surprised by its beauty but also with many suprises. We flew over Cairo (where we stayed a day at the hotel - free of charge) and at night while we waited for the plane we met a brother from America-Washigton, Seatel, Kenny, and cooperate with the House of Pray, who traveled to India-Bombay not knowing where and what he will do there but God had told him he must go to Bomabay, we started to make friends with him and we all decided he is to be with us...
The Canon on Mt Victoria, Devonport... how we searched for this! On top we also had the most amaing by 360 deg night view of Auckland. We completed the mushroom counting and pic task, the hidden letter in the canon task and the prayers for Auckland here at 7pm at night in the rain!... The Americas Cup Voyager :) we had to track down its number... We met up with LIME team along the way and what a spurt of fun that was. A sign we found rather amusing along the way. Sky Tower, which was part of the bonus task - 2...
