Dawid was so right in the beginning of training when he said, “I hate India. I love India. I will never go back there. If someone gives me a ticket today, I’ll be on that flight tomorrow.” India is a country of contrasts and because you never know which slice of the pie you might get, a place where Global Challengers meet God and meet themselves. As I travelled to India with the team, I had this sinking feeling. That feeling of, you know what’s coming, you do not want it, but you can’t avoid it. Probably what Jesus felt...

My time in Peru has come and gone, and certain memories have lifetime status won! From Lima to Chiclayo (in which we began our stay), the Peruvians welcomed us in the most blessed of ways. The Groenewalds and pastors did everything they could to make us all comfy as real family would! Then Touching Hearts course ran for 11 days- intensive ministry that challenged our ways. Translated from English to Spanish it took rather long but pressing on it broke even the 'strong'. With much to process we took to the road, Incawasi in Andes...
As promised few pics to tie up Cambodia... A land that stole the hearts of many, a nation that knows love no other where the smiles of people light up the darkest of moments... A few things to remember... - the tuk tuks (the hours we spent in them) - the mangos - tannie Alta's (and all her ministry work) - the children and how they crept into your heart!!! JESUS LOVES YOU... "pro-jesu-throw-line-nye""

Among other needs, a jungle gym (as per the video clip) is required and your support will be greatly appreciated. The primary school has minimal funds with very primitive facilities. The children of the school face an empty, hard and unfriendly stretch of ground as they step out of the classroom for their play time. As the Global Challenge Explore Africa team we believe that stimulating child play is crucial for cognitive and...
Greetings from Colombia, the home of great coffee, cocaine, and kidnapping guerrillas! We have arrived safe and sound, though some of our teammates had a detour through Peru and Ecuador. After a safety briefing we made way from Bogota to a nearby town of Fusagasuga.
Before we knew what happened, Ettienne, Nicholas and me got the surprise of our life… We were on a different flight than the rest of the team and would have had to wait on Madrid airport for about 20 hours before boarding our flight to Portugal. Anticipating the same procedures as the previous time, we prepared ourselves for the “duty free shopping area” (almost like no man’s land on the airport) and getting some sleep. But this time things were a bit different and before we understood what’s going on we were at border control and got a stamp in...
