Luke 10 - The Kingdom of God Has Come Near!

Luke 10 - The Kingdom of God Has Come Near!
"The Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him , two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. And he said to them, " The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few . Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest. Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Carry no moneybag, no knapsack, no sandals , and greet no one on the road. Whatever house you enter, first say, ' Peace be...

God speaks

Seeing that I haven’t posted as many blogs as I would have loved to, I thought I’d give you this praise report to give thanks for all your faithful prayers, to inspire you to keep praying, to tell you that our God is alive and faithful and to give all the honour and glory to Him. On Saturday morning, the team and I drove into Auckland city to meet up with AJ and his crew.  Our expectations were high, but nothing could prepare us for what was ahead. We split into smaller groups for some prayer walking.  As we walked...

My Journey South

My Journey South
My journey South The ink of this skilful writer became dry but the time has come to fill this page with words that proclaim His Glory! The journey started South with a team showing fruit of faith and obedience. We did an extreme overland hitch hike from Mendoza, Argentina to Lima Peru.   This journey took us 4-6 days! On the border of Chile the Lord reminded me of these words I spoke a few days ago:” All that I desire is to know Your word and walk in Your presence!”  The great test came when my day bag, with EVERYTHING...

Niger Relief Feedback - Through the eyes of Nicky Ferreira

Niger Relief Feedback - Through the eyes of Nicky Ferreira
"As Short as I could get it It was a while ago that I was standing in church and we sang the words “no matter what the cost, I’ll go…” and the words struck me. It is sang so easily, but is it easily met? No matter what it will cost us… will we go where He directs us? Words so easily spoken, “Lord, I am willing for anything… use me”, but what we don’t always understand is that God will take you seriously, even if you did not mean it seriously.  '   God took that to the...

Thank you for your support!

Thank you for your support!
Hi Everyone It is with great joy that we can announce that we have finished building the house here in Niger. The last week was really been great. Not only did we build the house brick for brick  but we also had the opportunity to build great friendships with the Lawale, his family and the members of the church as they joined in with support. I believe that we were a light to the community and a testimony of Gods provision for his children.   We as a team would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for...

The Battle Within...

Daar is die heeltyd ‘n stryd in elkeen van ons. Soos  twee honde wat baklei,‘n wit hond en ‘n swart hond. En die een wat wen is die een wat jy voer! Watter een voer jy? Hoe voer jy hom? Rom7:24...

The blessedness of possessing Nothing!

The blessedness of possessing Nothing!
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs are the kingdom of heaven.” Matt 5:3 In A.W. Tozer’s book the pursuit of God he dedicates a chapter to the subject of ‘The blessedness of Possessing nothing’, the first beattitude. He here explains that the Lord prepared for man a world full of useful things for his delight, thing made for man’s use. But that these things have over thousands of years become more and more important to man and have become part of the man’s heart, taking the space in its heart which was created for God to reign in...

JESUS CALLED US TO LUKE 10!

Jesus called us, He called Roelof, Ilze and Lume together, He gave us authority to cure diseases, to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He told us:” Go, take no money I will provide” God was our everything! We all can testify of what God did for us. God wanted us to learn how to trust Him for provision, and oh how He provided, God took care of all our needs. There were difficult times but looking back it only brought us growth, and we had some amazingly good times aswell. Let me tell you more...

Challenge Accepted : Building project 2014 !

Challenge Accepted : Building project 2014 !
5 Tasks; 7 days; 56 hours; 18 students and no money… Impossible? Impossible is nothing when God is at work! This is exactly what Annemarie Franken, the head of Global Challenge Expeditions, thought when she got word from God to start the first high school in Jeffreys Bay. Since that day in 2009 her obedience in pursuing this dream was followed by an abundance of blessings. The school was up and running by the beginning of 2010, but then came the second calling from God: build a school campus on faith, starting with no money. (If you want to read...
