During our 3 weeks in Egypt the Lord gave me a picture of our team. Today I was very privileged to finish the book I was reading while serving somewhere in China. The book is called "To the golden shore" and is the biography of Adoniram Judson, the first missionary that was ever send out by America. I am truly humbled by the life of this man. He left his family never to see them again, he buried 2 wives and 3 children. He was imprisoned for almost 2 years and it took 6 years before the first Burmese person accepted Christ. He spend almost 50 years away from home and gave up everything to serve Christ. I...
We just came back from an Indian tribe in the forest, just outside Ubatuba. What an experience! As Gehta said: “They all look like Pocahontas!” We played soccer with the boys in the rain, told the creation story to the kids – for the first time – and helped bake bread.
