Challenge 2.5 in Malaysia

Challenge 2.5 in Malaysia
Yes Yes we had another challenge in Malaysia. It was amazing as usual and really joined forces with the locals to finish the tasks as soon as possible, and when I say locals I really mean locals.   As most of you know me an JohanB was blessed to travel back to Malaysia in order to help the local church community with some IT problems they are experiencing. It came at the right time since we had to be out of Thailand on the third of April and we receive the good news on the 31 st of March. This...

Niger!!

These last three weeks changed my life!! For the first time I really saw where God is busy working!! Just a quick statement; God don't need you and me to do His work, He is busy working from the day of the fall!! That day He started working in the peoples hearts and He is changing them everyday!! The first village that we visit, we met some new believers and while we were praying for them 3 men just came in. It was muslim men so we were a bit sceptic. The pastor that lives there asked them what they want...

The breaking apart of my heart!!!

On the door step of Stephan’s flat we stood uncertain and somewhat scared of what was coming! It was just like confirmation from God when we got blessed almost immediately after we started our Luke 10! I knew Burma was set on my heart but was it for the Luke 10? That was my question. Our travels were blessed so much that I knew we were on the right way. We were heading to Mae Sot a place where many Burmese refugees found a home or medical attention.  This was the place where we were heading! We came there with no money,...

The aim of our charge.

The aim of our charge.
Israel, Palistine and all things tense. I do not claim to be an expert an will not attempt to explaine the intigrate details and complexities of the political situation in the Middle East. However standing in the mist of these countries and crossing the wall that devides them, seeing both sides and and grasping a fresh the gravity of the situation is what is on my heart. There is a wall, it is deviding and it is opressing, two grous of people are hurting and what they need is JESUS. This is not about picking sides or having a right...

Luke 10 -Day 7

Normal 0 We arrived quite early (6:00) after a cold night in the bus.   Somehow water got in from the floor of the bus (strange, but true) and soaked some of our hand and day bags.   We sat and tried sleeping in the cold on the bus stop until God gave us further instructions… about 9:00 we got on a train and traveled to a backpackers’ towards the center of town. Between the two trains we had to catch to get to our destination Paul gave us all a VERY big fright by falling down the stairs…crutches and...

Wrapping up Morocco

Wrapping up Morocco
Morocco welcomed us with a night at the airport where we had to sleep through the sound of hammers and chisels ceaselessly building away on a new part of the airport.    In Marrakech we stayed over for two nights. The vibrancy and colours of the markets overwhelmed and mesmerised. Rooftop views and coffees became a frequent enjoyment as well as prayer walks through the mazed streets. In the mornings we watched the sun rise over Marrakech and prayed together there.   Fes was our next destination, once we got there after a long bus ride we were graciously scammed...
